Teflon® Fluoropolymer Production

Teflon fluoropolymer raw material starts out as pellets that are then pressed into shape. Production occurs in an air-conditioned environment. Our Hydramet PTFE automatic compacting press is capable of producing up to 3000 parts per day. Once the components are pressed and formed they are placed in large metal trays and placed in special ovens for sintering (curing) for several hours. Our "micro-finish" glistens and shines with a new grit ultrahigh finish that has been improved more than 50%.

Newman sanitation requirements are unsurpassed in the industry. Pure virgin Teflon® fluoropolymer - NO fillers. FDA and USP Class VI compliant. Newman Sanitary Gasket is a licensed manufacturer of gaskets made with Teflon fluoropolymer for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing industries. We have continued to work and improve the performance of our Teflon® fluoropolymer products through the license agreement with DuPont and will continue this endeavor in the future to make sure our customers receive the highest quality products and service they deserve.
